2025-26 CBSE Class 10 Sample Exam Papers: Obtain PDFs of Subject-specific Exam Papers and Scoring Guides
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made preparations for the Class 10 board exams in 2026 more accessible than ever. With the release of the CBSE Class 10 Sample Papers 2025-26, students now have valuable resources to aid their exam preparation.
Starting from the 2025-26 academic session, CBSE will conduct Class 10 board exams twice a year. The first exam will be mandatory in February 2026, and the second, optional, will be held in May-June 2026. This revised structure offers students a flexible approach, providing a second chance to improve their scores without penalty and reducing the pressure of a single high-stakes exam.
The sample papers cover all major subjects, including English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Computer Applications. Each sample paper is accompanied by a detailed marking scheme, outlining step-wise mark allocation, suggested answers or solutions, and guidelines students should follow while writing responses in the board exams.
The sample papers are available for download in PDF format from the CBSE academic website, cbseacademic.nic.in. To access the sample papers, navigate to the "Sample Question Paper" section, select "Class X" and the year 2025-26, and click on the subject name to download the Sample Paper PDF and Marking Scheme.
Students will be allotted the same examination centre for both the February and May sessions. The marking pattern, internal assessments, projects, and practicals will remain the same for both phases. The sample papers for select subjects are also available in Hindi medium, including Science, Mathematics Basic, Mathematics Standard, Social Science, Home Science, and Painting.
