2025 IB ACIO Exam Review on September 16: A Look at the Difficulty Level of Each Subject and Successful Attempts

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) of India conducted the ACIO Tier 1 Exam 2025 from 16th to 18th September 2025, with thousands of candidates competing for 3717 vacancies of ACIO Grade 2/Executive posts. The exam was held in four shifts each day.

On the first day, 16th September 2025, the IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam was held in the 1st shift. The difficulty level of the exam was rated as moderate, and it included questions from various topics such as Indian Polity, General Studies, Current Affairs, and more.

The English section of the exam was moderately difficult, testing candidates' vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills. It included questions on Idioms, Phrasal Verbs, Comprehension Passage (Italy-related), Synonyms, PQRS, Narration, Active/Passive, One-word Substitute, Correct Spelling, and more.

The reasoning section was easy to moderate, with some questions requiring more time to solve. It included questions on Statement & Conclusion, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Blood Relations, Address Matching, Simplification, and more.

In the Subject-wise analysis, Current Affairs and General Studies had 20 questions each. The good attempt range for Current Affairs is 15-16, and for General Studies, it is 11-12.

The exam covered a wide range of topics, including Article 21 related provisions, Coastal regions of India, 42nd Amendment & Constitutional Remedies Act, Fundamental Rights, Wetlands in India, Supreme Court-related articles, Harappa Civilization, Traditional dances of Mizoram, Union Budget and Economics, GDP-related questions, Forest reports, 70th National Award Male Actor, Padma Shri & Goa Liberation Day, World Bank Global Economic Prospects (GEP) Jan 2025, Syed Modi Badminton Trophy, and Location of the Triumph Exercise.

The IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam Analysis 2025 provides good attempt numbers for each subject, and it is expected that the IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam Analysis 2025 for Reasoning on 17th September 2025 and English Language on 17th September 2025 will follow a similar pattern as the one observed on 16th September 2025. The Reasoning section is expected to include questions on Statement & Conclusion, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Blood Relations, Address Matching, Simplification, and more. The English section is expected to test candidates' vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills similarly.
