Saarlouis City Library Hosts Interactive Children's Mystery Event

On July 29th at 3:30 PM, the Saarlouis City Library invites children aged 7 to 9 to an exciting and engaging event titled "The School of Magical Creatures Investigates - The Green Slime Letter." This gripping tale, set to be read aloud, features young detectives, magical creatures, and a thrilling mystery.

The story revolves around Miss Cornfield's class, who find themselves embroiled in a mystery when one of their students, Ida, receives a worrying letter with fragments of words like "blood" and "weapons." The characters, including Ida, her magical creature Rabbat, the polar bear Murphy, and the magpie Pinkie, must work together to solve the case.

Ida, portrayed as the brave and resourceful protagonist, expresses concerns for her safety throughout the story. The event promises to be a gripping adventure for young audiences, as the children will have the opportunity to decode puzzles, search for hidden hints, and unravel the secrets behind the green slime.

Following the screening, children can participate in fun activities such as painting or browsing through books available at the library. The event takes place at the Saarlouis City Library, located in the Theater am Ring, Souterrain, with entrance via Lothringer Straße.

The Saarlouis City Library has more stories from the School of Magical Creatures to borrow, as this event is part of the larger mystery series. The books' pictures will be projected during the event for a captivating visual experience.
