After gaining global fame and becoming a style icon, the Irish actor has chosen to share a piece of his personal life with fans. He's decided to sell some of his personal belongings, with the proceeds going to a charitable cause.

The star of "Gladiator II" is listing various items on the popular resale site Vinted, including garments he wore during the international promotional tour for the Ridley Scott movie.

This sale, scheduled to start later this month, aims to support the Irish charity Pieta, which assists individuals dealing with suicide and self-harm issues.

Some of the standout items include a striped cashmere crewneck top worn on "Saturday Night Live", a pair of square-toed Jimmy Choo boots, and a red lace-up cardigan by British designer AV Vattev.

The Hades sweater features depictions of ancient statues in its design.

Also available is a gray and red wool cardigan adorned with classical statues, priced around $380. This "Narcissus" cardigan is from the British label Hades.

The sale is a joint effort with Felicity Kay, Mescal's stylist during the "Gladiator II" press tour. Kay announced the sale on Instagram, stating, "Paul and I are selling some specially selected pieces from his Gladiator 2 Press tour wardrobe for his chosen charity @pieta.house on @vinted. The sale will go live 16th December."

The online sale description explains, "This Vinted collaboration came from a shared desire to bring back into circulation some key pieces that Felicity styled Paul in for the press tour, as well as providing a second chance to those pieces that might not have made it to the final cut. All proceeds from the sale will go to Pieta, Paul's chosen charity from Ireland."

CNN reached out to Mescal's representatives for further comment.

The sale listings include photos of Mescal wearing the items up for auction. For instance, a listing for a blue and white vintage T-shirt with "Baby 83" printed on the front is accompanied by what appears to be a Polaroid photo of Mescal wearing the tee.

The black Jimmy Choo Chelsea boots, priced around $1,050, can also be seen in the sale listings, with Mescal modeling them.

This aged T-shirt retails for an impressive $234.

Matthew Oakes, a spokesperson for the charity Pieta, commented that Mescal's generosity will enable the charity to continue supporting individuals in their moments of need, not only during the Christmas season but also beyond.

The sale of Mescal's fashionable items, such as the blue "Baby 83" T-shirt and the red AV Vattev cardigan, on Vinted is highly anticipated by fashion enthusiasts. This charitable sale, styled by Felicity Kay during the "Gladiator II" press tour, is a testament to Mescal's style and generosity in supporting Pieta's cause.
