The collaboration, announced in Abuja, Nigeria on March 21, 2025, is designed to connect African talent with global companies in industries such as software development, cybersecurity, healthcare, and digital marketing. Zainab Salami, Co-Founder of MSwitch Creative Hub, expressed that this initiative is a game-changer, positioning Africa as a hub for digital and creative excellence.

With AfriLabs being Africa's largest network of tech hubs, and MSwitch Creative Hub partnering to bring its expertise in digital skills development, this partnership represents a major strategic push to scale up Africa’s remote work ecosystem. The partnership has already launched with 2,000 immediate job placements, with the goal of scaling to the target of 250,000+ jobs within the specified timeframe.

To facilitate recruitment and training, AfriLabs has signed an MoU with Cybersecurity INC USA, integrating its Remoting.Work platform into the initiative. Ajibola Odukoya, COO of AfriLabs, stated that the initiative fosters homegrown innovation and strengthens local economies by enabling professionals to work remotely for international companies while staying in their local environments.
