Santosh Deshmukh, alas, was allegedly abducted, brutally tortured, and tragically murdered on December 9, 2024. His untimely demise was a consequence of confrontations with individuals who were attempting to extort money from a windmill company at their premises.
The HSC Class 12 exams, conducted by the Maharashtra state board from February 11 to March 11, 2025, were a challenge Vaibhavi bravely accepted, amidst the heart-wrenching loss of her father.
Vaibhavi's scores in her respective subjects include: English (63), Marathi (83), Mathematics (94), Physics (83), Chemistry (91), and Biology (98). Despite the adversity she faced due to ongoing legal and justice-seeking efforts, she maintained her composure and shone in her board exams.
Determined not to let hardship derail her, Vaibhavi also attempted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET) exams, but she felt the impact of her commitments in the aftermath of her father's death. Nevertheless, she did not let it dampen her spirits and expressed her wishes for the death penalty for her father's killers and the arrest of the remaining fugitive suspect.
Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister, commended Vaibhavi for overcoming emotional and social challenges and achieving such an outstanding score. "Vaibhavi's success is more than academic - a symbol of strength, resilience, and hope," he said.
Supriya Sule, Baramati MP, also extended her congratulations, lauding Vaibhavi for her inspirational triumph under trying circumstances.
