Amity Schools Introduce "Study Abroad" Plan at a Spectacular 2025 Open House Event
The Amity Open House 2025, organised by the Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell and the Amity Group of Schools, marked a significant milestone as it witnessed the launch of the Study@Abroad program. This initiative aims to provide students with a global education experience, opening doors to various cultural and academic opportunities.
The event saw the attendance of official representatives from six top educational destinations: the USA, UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Among the distinguished panel of speakers were Ms. Bhupinder Kaur from Education New Zealand - South Asia, Ms. Rashi Khanduja from the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, Ms. Vishu Sharma from the British Council, Ms. Priyanka Bangia from Higher Education Japan, Ms. Misha Mehrotra from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission - Austrade, and Ms. Rupali Verma from EducationUSA.
Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, speaking about the initiative, shared that Study@Abroad stems from Amity's commitment to prepare students for academic success and global citizenship. It is a part of Amity's education system that is prepared for the future.
The Study@Abroad program offers a range of benefits for students. It provides access to Amity’s campuses in multiple countries, offering diverse cultural and educational experiences. Students can engage in academic and research collaborations internationally, and even receive scholarships for selected programs. The program also offers support in career planning and guidance related to studying abroad, including insights on funding and country selection.
Moreover, the program includes pre-departure orientation for life in a foreign country, soft skills and interview preparation, individualized student profile assessments, and one-on-one counseling. This comprehensive approach paves the way for students' global education, marking the first step in the Study@Abroad journey for students exploring international education.
