Apple broadens its Today at Apple Creative Studios initiative, opening up fresh avenues for up-and-coming artists and creators.

In an exciting development, tech giant Apple is expanding its Today at Apple Creative Studios initiative to seven new cities: Nashville, Miami, Berlin, Milan, Taipei, Tokyo, and Sydney. This programme, designed to foster creativity and empower young artists, will now reach a wider audience, offering a diverse range of opportunities in various creative fields.

The expanded programme will see participants creating short documentary films in London, Sydney, Beijing, Tokyo, and Bangkok, focusing on identity, culture, and representation. In Paris, the focus will shift to podcasting, where individuals can learn creative storytelling, audio engineering, and recording.

Apple is also collaborating with various institutions to provide unique experiences. In Nashville, the National Museum of African American Music will partner with Apple for spatial audio recording access to Apple Music studios. In Miami, Apple is partnering with O, Miami for a program focusing on micro audiobook creation for emerging artists.

The Creative Studios programme is not just about creating content; it's about building careers. Mentors from Apple and over 30 nonprofit community partners will guide participants, offering career-building mentorship, training, and resources in app design, podcasting, spatial audio production, filmmaking, and more.

In addition to these, the Creative Studios in Berlin will be led by mentors Ben Cottrell and Anna Slobodnik. The New York Creative Studios will provide mentorship, insight, and resources to women and nonbinary creatives for app development focused on social impact. The Milan Creative Studios will celebrate diversity in fashion, art, and design, led by Afro Fashion.

Chicago will see young creatives from the Southwest Side working on radio production and audio/video experimentation, focusing on themes of belonging and identity. In Washington, young creatives will learn creative writing and visual storytelling, creating their own board books, audiobooks, and storyboards. Meanwhile, in Taipei, young designers will explore identity while designing content that represents themselves and their communities.

Public Today at Apple Creative Studios sessions will be hosted in select cities, led by established artists and Apple Creative Pros. These sessions are open to the public, with registration available at our website/today.

Last year, over 400 young people participated in Creative Studios programming. Mentors encourage participants to think about how their talents can encourage social change in their communities. The Creative Studios initiative is a testament to Apple's commitment to nurturing the next generation of creators and innovators.
