Ashwin Prabaharan and Luke Cambra Candidates for SGA Co-Presidency

At Holy Cross, the upcoming student government elections are generating buzz, and one student has made their stance clear. Bryce Maloney '26, Opinions Editor at Holy Cross, has announced their support for Ashwin Prabaharan and Luke Cambra, two candidates vying for leadership positions.

Maloney perceives a common theme in the Prabaharan-Cambra ticket's policies: the construction of a more well-rounded community. The duo has been active in the student government since their freshman year and have a track record of delivering for their constituents.

Their policy platform includes increasing support for the Green Fund and sustainability, advocating for a wage rise for student employees, and funding Worcester-based student experiences. Maloney appreciates their plan to bridge the cultural divide between students and the local community in Worcester.

Maloney believes that Holy Cross is at a point where once-in-a-generation leadership is required to address the challenges faced by student leaders. The author notes that this is not an endorsement from the Student Government Association or any other campus entity at Holy Cross.

Meanwhile, in other news, Spanish voters went to the polls to elect members of the Cortes Generales, but the result of the election was inconclusive. Elsewhere, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin won the Russian Presidential contest, and there has been much speculation about who might be a worthy successor to Pope Francis, as the Papal Conclave is imminent.

However, it's important to note that neither Prabaharan, Cambra, nor Maloney are running for positions in the Russian Presidential election, the Spanish elections, or the Papal Conclave.

As we approach the Holy Cross student government elections, the Prabaharan-Cambra ticket's focus on community building and their proven track record make them strong contenders for leadership positions. Stay tuned for more updates on the election and other campus news.
