Pforzheim University Graduates Celebrate Success at 18th LAUDATIO Ceremony
Pforzheim, Germany - On a Friday at the CongressCentrum Pforzheim (CCP), approximately 496 graduates from Pforzheim University celebrated their successful completion of Bachelor and Master programs in the Faculties of Technology, Business, and Law. The graduation ceremony, known as the LAUDATIO, marked the 18th edition of the event.
Professor Dr. Ulrich Jautz, Rector of Pforzheim University, welcomed the guests and emphasized the career opportunities for graduates in the North Black Forest, Kraichgau, and Enz district. He highlighted the importance of technical and managerial fields such as engineering, management, business administration, and IT, with practical pathways including internships, student traineeships, and project theses in local companies like Witzenmann.
The LAUDATIO was moderated by Professor Dr. Markus-Oliver Schwaab and Professor Dr.-Ing. Henning Hinderer. Graduates were congratulated by the deans of the Faculties of Technology and Business and Law. The event was musically accompanied by the band "Miss Kavila".
Approximately 1500 guests attended the graduation ceremony, which included the presentation of degrees to the graduates. No specific employment opportunities were mentioned during the ceremony. After the ceremony, a champagne reception marked the end of the celebrations.

The LAUDATIO graduation ceremony for the Faculties of Technology and Business and Law occurs every 8 months at the Pforzheim CCP. The Faculty of Design graduates its students every semester as part of the Werkschau.
