Citizen Discusses Governance under Taliban Regime in Afghanistan
After four decades of conflict, Afghanistan is currently experiencing a period of relative stability and low crime rates compared to its tumultuous past. This newfound peace has been noted by both locals and tourists, with many reporting a high level of security in the war-torn country.

It's important to note that the Taliban, who took power on August 15, 2021, when they entered Kabul and overthrew the previous government, currently rule Afghanistan. However, most countries, including Germany, do not recognise the Taliban as the politically legitimate government of Afghanistan.
