In a bid to improve the living conditions of students in Almaty, the city has embarked on an ambitious dormitory construction project as part of the "Five Social Initiatives" set by Elbasy (Nursultan Nazarbayev).
The latest addition to this initiative is a multi-profile complex for the Eurasian Law Academy named after D. Kunaev, announced by the Mayor of Almaty, B. Sagintayev, on Instagram. The complex, scheduled to open soon, will offer facilities for daily life, including a dining hall, laundry, library, medical point, and internet classes.
The Eurasian Law Academy named after D. Kunaev is one of several universities in Almaty that have been building and renovating dormitories over the past two years. In fact, universities in the city have recently completed the construction of five dormitories with nearly 1,500 beds, while construction of two more dormitories with 1,700 beds has begun this year.
The total number of beds in the newly built and renovated dormitories in Almaty is approximately 3,200. This ongoing construction is a significant step towards accommodating more students in the city.

The complex will house 100 students, along with rooms for teachers. The complex, like the other dormitories being constructed, will aim to provide a comfortable and conducive living environment for students, thus contributing to their academic success.
The announcement was made by Almaty.tv, and the ongoing construction of dormitories in Almaty has been met with wide approval from students and the general public alike. The efforts are seen as a positive step towards addressing the housing needs of students in Almaty and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Kunaev, as it offers internet classes to students alongside facilities for daily life such as a dining hall, laundry, library, medical point, and lodging for teachers.
