Construction of school's gravel pathway begins in the desert
The city of Bergisch Gladbach is witnessing the commencement of a new project, as the construction of a modern kindergarten at Schulstraße officially began. The new facility, expected to open in the next kindergarten year, will offer space for approximately 70 children, divided into four groups.
Ragnar Migenda, the first deputy mayor, is playing a crucial role in coordinating pick-up and drop-off services and working closely with direct neighbours to develop sustainable traffic solutions. His efforts aim to ensure a smooth transition for the new kindergarten's operation.
The construction is being carried out using an eco-friendly wooden panel construction method, with the company Terhalle from Ahaus leading the project. Mr. Jürgen Ellerkamp, managing director of Terhalle, expressed his pleasure at bringing their long-standing expertise in wood construction to Bergisch Gladbach.
Stephan Dekker, the deputy mayor, highlighted the good preparation involved in the project, as the future operator's requirements were taken into account from the start. Mayor Frank Stein emphasized the strategic importance of the project, stating it is another building block in Bergisch Gladbach's municipal Kita offensive.
The building permit has been issued, and the first work for the foundation is already underway, with deep excavation for foundation and pipeline installation having begun. The project's progress is being closely followed by the city of Bergisch Gladbach, and a groundbreaking ceremony attended by representatives from administration, construction companies, and the municipal school construction GmbH marked the beginning of this exciting endeavour.
In a significant move, an old lime tree between the cemetery and the kindergarten property will be preserved and protected during the construction. This commitment to preserving the city's natural beauty reflects Bergisch Gladbach's dedication to sustainable development.
For those seeking more detailed information about the project, it is recommended to consult municipal reports from Bergisch Gladbach, local news outlets covering urban development, or official websites dedicated to the city’s public works and education departments.
Ragnar Migenda, in his role as the first deputy mayor, is also focusing on the education-and-self-development aspect of the new kindergarten, collaborating to develop a plan for educational programs that foster Early Childhood Education (ECE) principles.
Stephan Dekker, the deputy mayor, has ensured that the project's coordination includes providing resources for continuous self-development for the kindergarten's staff, emphasizing the importance of ongoing education in early childhood education.
