Autumn Holiday Courses at Junior Uni.: A World of Opportunities for Young Explorers

Get ready for an exciting adventure this autumn as the Junior Uni. announces its lineup of holiday courses for 2025! These courses cater to a wide range of interests and ages, providing a perfect opportunity for young learners to explore, discover, and grow.

For the younger explorers aged 4 to 6, the course "Pura Vida - We Discover Costa Rica" offers a fantastical journey through this fascinating country. Through stories, experiments, and creative tasks, children will learn about Costa Rica's volcanoes, sloths, and rainforests.

The course "More Courage to Be Me" is designed for 7 to 10-year-old explorers, with a focus on building self-confidence and team spirit. In this course, children will learn how to present themselves confidently and respectfully.

As they grow older, youth aged 11 to 14 can delve into the world of international politics with the course "Human & Power - How does International Politics Work?" Here, they will discuss how global decisions are made and the role of power structures. Another option for this age group is the course "Discgolf - Physics and Technique of a Trend Sport", which combines movement with science, investigating how factors like flight angle, material, and throwing technique affect flight path.

For those aged 14 and above, the course "Respect the rules - Criminal and Civil Law from a Police Perspective" offers a deeper understanding of the law. Through real cases, legal foundations, and the question of what is and isn't allowed, participants will gain a comprehensive insight into the workings of the criminal and civil justice system.

The "Experience Craftsmanship!" project week is open to youth aged 11 and above, as well as those aged 14 to 20. Taught by employees from local craft businesses, this week offers a first glimpse into various career paths. During the second week of the autumn holidays, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in various craft professions and industries.

Other courses during the autumn holidays allow children to discover the seasons, learn to program, or design their own cars. The autumn holiday courses will take place from October 14th to 24th, 2025, with the registration period from Thursday, September 18th, 2025, at 10:00 AM to Monday, September 22nd, at 10:00 AM. After the registration period, course places will be drawn by lottery.

For those interested in ice skating, the autumn holiday courses in 2025 will take place at UES Eisenstadt from October 27 to 30 in Eisenstadt, Austria.
