Exceptionally Skilled Offspring at Yakutskenergo
In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Central Electric Networks (CEN), a subsidiary of PAO "Yakutskenergo" in the RusHydro Group, organised a series of creative competitions to celebrate International Children's Day. The events, hosted on the Primary Trade Union Organization of CEN's Instagram page, attracted a total of 97 participants from various parts of Yakutia.
Elena Nikitina, Chairperson of the Central Electrical Networks Trade Union, expressed her delight at providing a modern response to the challenges of the time. She emphasised the importance of giving children the chance to shine during their childhood, comparing their lives to their drawings, stating that they should be as bright and colorful.
The competitions, which included the "Young Talents" contest and the "I Draw Happiness" and 'Energy of Friendship' contests, were open to participants from the Mokhsogollokhsky Children's Home, as well as children and grandchildren of energy workers. The "Young Talents" contest had 6 genres: "vocal", "choreography", "recitation", "folk art", "instrumental performance", and "original genre". The jury for the contest included the Merited Worker of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the artistic director of the House of Friendship of Peoples named after A.E. Kulakovsky, Jean Nikolaeva.
Elena Nikitina also mentioned that voting in the 'I Draw Happiness' and 'Energy of Friendship' contests is still ongoing. All children from the orphanage participated in the 'Energy of Friendship' contest, while all participants received valuable prizes, diplomas, and certificates.
As part of the PPO CEN's "From Heart to Heart" program, energy workers provided assistance to three large families of former workers from the Tompon and Mayin districts of electric networks. Fresh, sweet strawberries were provided for the "Strawberry Mood" contest, although no new information was provided about the contest itself.
Due to the complex epidemiological situation, the events were held online. Elena Nikitina expressed her pleasure at being able to continue with the celebrations despite the circumstances, stating that it's pleasing to provide a modern response to the challenges of the time.
