In a shocking revelation, former Boston University women's soccer players have spoken up in defense of ex-coach Nancy Feldman following sexual harassment accusations by podcaster Alex Cooper.
Cooper initially aired her grievances in her "Call Her Alex" Hulu documentary, which premiered recently. She elaborated further on her unpleasant soccer program experience during a subsequent Q&A session following the film's release.

TMZ Sports obtained a letter from a representative of 99 Boston University alumni, standing by Feldman. The alumni justified their stance by stating they didn't aim to "minimize or disregard anyone's individual experiences," but felt it essential to support Feldman. They maintained that they "never felt unsafe" under her leadership during the team's success-focused days.
"We were never at risk of or witness to inappropriate behavior or anything that could be characterized as sexual harassment," the letter read, via TMZ Sports.
Even though Cooper alleged that the coach inquired about her sex life, commented on her body, sought private time with her, and touched her, Feldman ostensibly favored Cooper among her teammates, as per Cooper. Cooper voiced her feelings of frustration during the documentary.
"I felt a lot of anger - anger at my coach, anger at my school, and anger at the system that allowed this to happen," Cooper said in the documentary.
Cooper and her parents had interactions with the university during her tenure, but the university hadn't dismissed Feldman, investigated the claims, or revoked Cooper's scholarship. The university issued a statement on Friday, affirming its "zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment."
"We have a culture of resources, support, and dedicated staff targeted towards student wellbeing and a comprehensive reporting process through our Equal Opportunity Office," it stated, via the New York Post.
"We encourage members of our community to report any concerns, and we remain dedicated to fostering a secure and safe campus environment for all."

Cooper played soccer for the university from 2013 to 2015 before she ventured into podcast hosting. She and her former roommate started the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, later picked up by Barstool Sports.
