Forty-five trainees from DSW21 and DEW21 attended political education in Berlin
Apprentices from DSW21 and DEW21 recently embarked on an enlightening journey to Berlin, where they participated in a political education seminar hosted by the European Academy North Rhine-Westphalia e.V. The seminar, filled with valuable discussions and insights, was made possible through the invitation of Dortmund Bundestag member Sabine Poschmann.
The day began with a visit to the German Bundestag, followed by a trip to the iconic Reichstag dome. Bathed in sunlight after a period of rain, the group ascended the dome, taking in the breathtaking views of the city.
Following their visit to the Bundestag, the apprentices had a presentation in the visitor's tribune of the plenary hall. The day continued with an engaging discussion in the Otto-Wels hall of the SPD Bundestag fraction, where Sabine Poschmann, a prominent member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), likely participated as a guest or speaker.
Sabine Poschmann is a German politician known for her involvement in various political and social initiatives. Her presence at the seminar likely aimed to support and encourage young professionals, as well as to strengthen ties between political representatives and vocational training institutions.
Throughout the day, the apprentices gained a wealth of knowledge about employment, vocational training, and regional development. The event, which was not an advertisement, provided a unique opportunity for these young professionals to learn directly from political leaders and engage in meaningful conversations about their future careers.
In all, the day was filled with political insights and good conversations, making it a memorable experience for the apprentices involved. The seminar, while not a repetition of previous activities such as visits to the Bundestag or the Reichstag dome, offered a fresh perspective on the political landscape and the role of young professionals within it.
The seminar, enriching the apprentices' education-and-self-development, was not only about politics but also general-news, as it delved into employment, vocational training, and regional development. Sabine Poschmann's involvement in the event not only strengthened ties between political representatives and vocational training institutions, but it also served as a source of inspiration and encouragement for the young professionals, fostering their growth in both their careers and personal development.
