Heino's upcoming tour, titled "Made in Germany," is all about embracing his love for Germany. At 86, the iconic singer is set to perform his biggest hits in full length for the first time in three decades. The tour will kick off on May 10th in Coswig near Dresden, with Heino choosing smaller venues with a maximum capacity of 800 seats to maintain an intimate connection with his audience. Heino expressed his disdain for large halls, preferring the personal touch that small gigs offer.

Heino's manager, Helmut Werner, revealed plans to include the third stanza of "Das Lied der Deutschen," the German national anthem, in the concert program. Werner believes this move signifies a commitment to sing the anthem throughout the year, not just on German Unity Day. Heino's tour posters in the colors of black, red, and gold are a clear representation of his patriotism and love for German culture.

About two and a half decades ago, Heino sang the national anthem at Henry Maske's boxing match. Interestingly, this rendition remains the most popular and widely streamed Heino track, outperforming "Blau blüht der Enzian" in terms of streams and downloads. This enduring popularity factored into the inclusion of the anthem in the tour's concert program, with audience participation strongly encouraged within the federal territory.

In the upcoming shows, Heino expressed his excitement to perform his classic hits again, acknowledging that re-learning his extensive catalog will be quite the challenge. The program will feature approximately 25 to 30 titles, along with staples like "La Paloma" and "Rosamunde." Additionally, the rock band Die Ärzte's "Junge" is set to be included, blending Heino's classic schlager and volkslieder with contemporary tunes to offer a diverse and entertaining evening.

After sharing the news of Heino's upcoming tour, he enthusiastically said, "There you go!" when his manager revealed the inclusion of the national anthem in the concert program. During the shows, the audience's participation in singing the anthem was strongly encouraged, bringing a sense of unity and enjoyment, which Heino appreciated, reflecting with a satisfied, "There you go."
