The Yakutsk Art College (AGIKI) has seen a significant influx of applicants during its recent nationwide admissions campaign, with a total of 873 applications received between June 20 and July 10.
The districts with the highest number of applications came from within the republic. Churapchinsky led with 60 applications, followed closely by Nюrbinsky with 55. One-third of the applications, amounting to 294, were submitted from Yakutsk itself.
The most popular program among the applicants was painting and graphics, with 145 applications. Within this program, 98 applicants chose the "Animator and Computer Graphics Artist" specialty, and 47 chose "Book Art".
The social and cultural activities program was another preferred choice, with 128 applicants. Within this program, "Management in Social and Cultural Activities" was the most chosen specialty, with 120 applicants. Other programs under this category, such as instrumental music art, musicology, applied music art, vocal art, acting art, and film directing, received a total of 62 applications.
Applied informatics was another sought-after program, with 85 applicants. The library and information activities program also attracted 70 applicants, while decorative and applied arts and design each received 60 and 67 applications, respectively.
Interestingly, 77 applicants chose the national artistic culture program. For master's programs at AGIKI, 44 applications were submitted, and 2 were submitted for postgraduate studies.
Applications were submitted through two main channels. A majority, 738, were submitted via the "Gosuslugi" portal, while 135 were submitted in paper form.
