Indian Designers Shine at Moscow Fashion Week

Moscow Fashion Week concluded successfully, once again solidifying its position as a major international fashion event. The week saw a global debut from Indian designers Shantnu & Nikhil, who showcased their womenswear collection 'Armouré' to the Russian market.

The duo, known for their outstanding work in the Indian fashion industry, captivated audiences with a collection rooted in Eastern culture and geometric silhouettes. Their 'Armouré' collection, inspired by the 1930s, was a celebration of feminine strength and elegance.

Other notable designers at the event included Stas Lopatkin, who offered an avant-garde take on classic tailoring, blending Eastern and Western cultural elements. Pawan Sachdeva showcased his urban, well-tailored styles, attracting both young audiences and buyers. Ianis Chamalidy presented a collection defined by strict architectural cuts and a minimalist aesthetic. Emerging brand Vira Plotnikova's 'Diva' collection highlighted the harmony between tradition and modernity with its technologically innovative feminine silhouettes.

The event featured collections from designers across 13 countries, including a strong delegation from India. The concurrent BRICS+ Fashion Summit was one of the industry's largest and most significant business events. Moscow Fashion Week continues to be a platform that connects global fashion talents and fosters international collaborations.
