International Gathering Slated for November 19 at Park University
Join Park University on November 19, 2021, for the annual International Festival, taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Park Avenue area within the Academic Underground on the Parkville Campus. This event, hosted by the Office of International Student Services, promises an evening filled with information booths, performances, cultural activities, and fashion shows, all aimed at showcasing the vibrant diversity within the Park University community.
The festival will also feature an international buffet, serving foods from each continent, with an entry fee of $10 for the public. However, Park students on a meal plan can enjoy the buffet for free with their Park ID.

This year, the festival will showcase the participation of students from 51 countries, including Brazil, China, Germany, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan, among others. The exact number of students from each country will not be specified, but the festival aims to provide a taste of the rich cultural tapestry that makes up the Park University community.
Admission to the festival is free and open to the public, making it an excellent opportunity for the wider community to learn, engage, and celebrate the international spirit that thrives at Park University.
