IV Gathering Honoring Kazakhstan's People's Heroes

Celebrating the Legacy of Aliya Moldagulova in Aktau:

In the spirit of honoring the selfless labor and heroism of remarkable individuals, the Aktau region welcomed a gathering of distinguished guests. The event, spearheaded by Akimat of Aktau region, Ashat Shakharov, aimed to emphasize the value of such role models for the younger generation.

With a strong emphasis on fostering responsibility, respect, and love for the Motherland, Ashat Shakharov stressed the significance of such meetings. He remarked that these gatherings contribute to strengthening national consciousness among the youth.

Among the esteemed guests were People’s Hero, Lieutenant-General Bakhitjan Ertaev, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Serik Aksholakov, Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, Aykul Mirasova, the first woman to be awarded the title of Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, Murat Kaiyrgeldin, and others.

The vibrant discourse encompassed a range of topics, including patriotic education of youth, intergenerational continuity, the role of labor heroism in modern society, and the preservation of historical memory. The discussion placed special emphasis on the heroic heritage of local heroes such as Aliya Moldagulova.

Serik Akshulakov, the President of the National Center of Neurosurgery and a Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, underscored the importance of the educational mission of such gatherings in his speech.

Kuraily Baymenova, Chairperson of the regional branch of the RPO "People's Heroes of Independent Kazakhstan", lauded the conference as historical.

The event also touched upon supporting labor dynasties, popularizing professions, strengthening intergenerational bonds, and the need to integrate patriotic programs into the educational environment.

Nurzhan Shangytbaev, Chairman of the Student Labor Detachment "Atameken", represented the youth and expressed deep gratitude to the Heroes for their labor and life achievements. He noted that the example set by these individuals inspires young Kazakhstanis to strive for lofty goals and serve their country with honor and dignity.

Paying Tribute:

On the same day, the honorary guests paid their respects at the Aliya Moldagulova Memorial Complex, leaving flowers in remembrance. They were also taken on a tour of the regional Aliya Moldagulova Memorial Museum. The delegates further met with cadets and military personnel at the T. Begeldinov Air Defense Forces Military Institute, sharing experiences and words of encouragement.

I, as a member of the distinguished gathering, was moved to express my personal growth and appreciation for the educational mission of this event, particularly in its emphasis on the legacy of Aliya Moldagulova in the realm of education-and-self-development and personal-growth. During our tour at the Aliya Moldagulova Memorial Museum, I was reminded of her significant role as a local hero and the importance of preserving such histories for future generations.
