City Transportation Systems (CTS) Initiates Preliminary Recruitment for LRT Dispatcher Training

Kazakhstan-based transportation firm LLC "City Transportation Systems" has initiated preliminary recruitment for a training program aimed at LRT (Light Rail Transit) dispatchers. As per Vechernaya Astana, the LRT trains are fully automated and driverless.

Key roles and responsibilities for the LRT dispatchers include managing and dispatching operations in real-time, making prompt decisions to modify LRT vehicle operation and movement modes, and ensuring safe and punctual transportation adhering to schedules and emergency response procedures.

Candidates can anticipate employment consistent with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and training or skill enhancement at the employer's expense, culminating in a globally recognized LRT dispatching certificate.

The training program, which spans up to six months, will take place in both Astana and China. The training, as well as the staff, will consist exclusively of Kazakhstani citizens.

Prospective candidates must hold higher education in transport or railway transport, with at least two years of experience in transport management, including a minimum of six months as a dispatcher or operator. Additional requirements include strong communication skills, organization, accountability, proficiency in flash monitoring software, and readiness for business trips.

Working hours during the training period will be a five-day workweek with two days off. After completion of the training, candidates will be expected to work on a rotating shift schedule.
