Luxury primary schooling debuts in UAE, costing up to 100,000 Dirhams at Harrow School.

Harrow, a prestigious British educational institution with a rich history, is set to expand its global reach with the opening of two new schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2026. One school will be located in Dubai, while the other will be on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.

These schools, known as Harrow UAE, are being developed in partnership with Taaleem, a leading education provider in the region. Taaleem, with its robust financials and diversified offerings, is well-positioned to support Harrow's expansion into the UAE.

The new schools will cater to students from FS1 to Year 6 initially, with plans to gradually expand to accommodate students up to the age of 18. Each school is expected to accommodate up to 1,800 students, reflecting Taaleem's strong capacity to cater to a large student body.

Harrow UAE is committed to delivering high-quality British education, with a strong emphasis on relationships and alumni connections. This aligns with Harrow’s broader international growth strategy, which involves establishing 72 new branded schools globally, including in the UAE, Qatar, and Oman.

The campuses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are being designed by Kidzink, a leading educational design firm, ensuring substantial and modern facilities designed to a high standard. While exact campus sizes are not fully detailed, the scale is expected to be significant, given comparable premium school developments in the region.

At Harrow UAE, students will benefit from small class sizes, personal growth support, and a focus on team sports. Every element at the schools is designed to foster personal growth, with a 'games model' ensuring all students participate in team sports.

Students will also engage in super-curricular programmes and participate in a house system built around values like honor and fellowship. This approach is a distinctive feature of Harrow's brand and is highlighted as vital in international education.

Teacher recruitment for Harrow UAE is currently underway, with a strong emphasis on cultural integration during the process. Rebecca Gray, Chief Education Officer at Taaleem, emphasized Harrow's commitment to inclusive and dynamic learning.

Already, alumni have begun engaging with the Harrow UAE schools ahead of their opening. Notable figures such as Winston Churchill, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Benedict Cumberbatch are part of the global Harrow alumni network, further underscoring the prestige of the institution.

Annual tuition fees for the new schools in the UAE will range from Dh80,000 to Dh100,000. Harrow UAE promises to offer a premium, holistic education, going beyond academic excellence by embedding traditional values with modern practices.

The expansion of Harrow into the UAE marks an exciting step in the institution's global growth, bringing its renowned educational ethos to a new region. With Taaleem's support, Harrow UAE is set to deliver top-tier British education, fostering lifelong relationships and community bonds among students and graduates.

Education and development are at the core of the partnership between Harrow, a prestigious British educational institution, and Taaleem, a leading education provider in the UAE. As part of this collaboration, Harrow UAE, being developed by both parties, aims to expand its global reach by opening two new schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2026. This venture aligns with Harrow’s broader international growth strategy, which seeks to establish 72 new branded schools worldwide.
