In a lively meeting at the Council for Reviewing Questions and Coordinating Pioneering Engineering Schools' Activities, chaired by the Minister of Science and Education, Valery Falkov, the head honchos of 'Agrobiotech' shared their triumphs and aspirations, as reported by TSU's press service.

Among the major accomplishments, the commission applauds the transformation of agricultural education and the launch of the Advanced School of Agricultural Biotechnology (VISHA). "Over the past three years, our 'Agrobiotech' team has refined an engineering education model geared towards the agricultural sector... The future of 'Agrobiotech' lies in network-based educational programs, creating technology and projects for the real-world economy, collaborating with leading companies, and developing new laboratories," shares acting director, Kirill Golokhvast.

'Agrobiotech' has launched 45 educational programs, executed five comprehensive research projects, and created eight educational and laboratory spaces since its inception, as per the press release. Among the completed projects is the development of a bio-preparation for breaking down waste palm oil byproducts, as well as a sperm segregator for livestock, enabling "selected" offspring through artificial insemination.

Earlier reports revealed that 'Agrobiotech' was founded at TSU in 2022, with support from high-tech companies and scientific research organizations. Graduates of 'Agrobiotech' posses modern knowledge of life sciences, digital modeling skills, and process management competencies required for groundbreaking research and development in the realm of agricultural, bio, and ecotechnology.

The flagship project of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Pioneering Engineering Schools, was launched in 2022. Currently, 50 such schools have been established. The goal of the project is to nurture highly-qualified engineering talents capable of ensuring the nation achieves technological sovereignty. 🌐
