Moenchengladbach Names Hugo-Junkers & Gymnasium am Geroweiher 'Digital Pilot Schools'

Moenchengladbach has chosen two schools, Hugo-Junkers High School and Gymnasium am Geroweiher, as 'Digital Copilot Schools'. The project, running over two years with a €300,000 budget, aims to prepare students for the digital world and harmonize school infrastructure. The selection was made by the School and Education Committee from 13 applications. The chosen schools submitted concepts detailing their goals and how the project fits into their educational profile. They aim to implement the city's media development plan and serve as pioneers in the Moenchengladbach school system. Dr. Gert Fischer, the city councilor responsible for education, culture, and sports, hopes that other schools will benefit from this project. The copilot schools are part of school associations with main and secondary schools, although the specific cooperating schools are not available at this time. The 'Digital Copilot School' project in Moenchengladbach is set to run for two years with a €300,000 budget. Hugo-Junkers High School and Gymnasium am Geroweiher have been selected to lead this initiative, with the goal of preparing students for the digital world and improving school infrastructure. The city councilor hopes that other schools will gain benefits from this project.
