Multiple Job Seekers Assisted During Adecco's Third International 'Street Day' Event, Impacting Over 1.2 Million People

The world's leading HR solutions provider, Adecco Group, recently celebrated its third 'Street Day' event. This global initiative aims to raise awareness and funds for youth employment programs worldwide.

On this day, Adecco employees and volunteers organized activities and campaigns to support young people facing challenges in entering the labor market. The event was attended by Cristina Gallud in Madrid, Spain, and Mohammed Assad in the Netherlands.

Mohammed Assad, a former 'CEO for One Month' finalist, joined the 'Street Day' team in the Netherlands. He expressed his readiness to take part in the event to help other young people.

'Street Day' is part of the wider Adecco Way to Work™ programme, which offers an online career center and internship opportunities. Mohammed Assad believes that the programme offers expert advice and opportunities for young people, as he attributes his career opportunities to this very programme and his one-month Adecco Experience.

The Adecco Way to Work programme is a global social impact initiative by Adecco Group designed to support young people in gaining skills, experience, and employment opportunities. It includes key activities such as Street Day and the CEO for One Month initiative.

The CEO for One Month initiative gives a young person the opportunity to take on the role of Adecco Group CEO for one month, gaining first-hand leadership experience, insight into corporate decision-making, and mentoring from top executives.

Since its launch in 2013, 'Street Day' has reached almost 2.2 million people. This year, more than 7,300 employees of the group participated in 'Street Day' across 1,130 cities in 54 countries. The initiatives included careers guidance, free training, and coaching sessions. Over 1,000 coaching sessions were held, including more than 1,700 branch open days.

Cristina Gallud, a participant in the Adecco 'Street Day' in Madrid, expressed gratitude for the event's usefulness for recent graduates. Mohammed Assad, who now works for Capgemini after his participation in the 'CEO for One Month' programme, considers Adecco to be the center of his career and feels like he is still part of the Adecco family.

The jobs market for young people remains difficult, particularly in much of Europe. Mohammed Assad believes that Adecco helps young people reach their goals by providing work readiness, career development, and leadership opportunities.

Over 2200 aspiring CEOs have already completed their applications for the 'CEO for One Month' programme. Until May 1st, candidates in 33 countries can participate in the Group's 'CEO for One Month' programme.
