Two seasoned educators, Jörg Pfeifer and Sebastian Krings, have taken on the roles of principals at the Friedrich-Ebert School and the Margaret School in Neuwied, Germany. Meet the New Principals

Jörg Pfeifer

With a degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Koblenz-Landau, Jörg Pfeifer embarked on a career in education. He honed his skills as a teacher at the Friedrich-Ebert School before being appointed as deputy head, providing him with valuable experience in school administration. Before taking the helm at the Friedrich-Ebert School, Pfeifer led a comprehensive school in Betzdorf with dedication, professional competence, and pedagogical finesse from 2007 to April 2025.

Sebastian Krings

Sebastian Krings, on the other hand, studied elementary education and educational management and leadership. He has a wealth of experience as a teacher and a leader within the school system. Prior to his role at the Margaret School, Krings headed the Maria-Goretti School in Heimbach-Weis for nearly 13 years. Since the previous school year, he has been acting as the principal of the Margaret School, and on May 1st, he officially started his tenure. Krings feels warmly welcomed and comfortable in his work at the Margaret School.

Bringing Fresh Impulses for School Development

The new leadership personnel at both schools are expected to bring fresh impulses for school development. The city of Neuwied wishes both Jörg Pfeifer and Sebastian Krings a successful start in their new roles as principals.
