NKU to Host Prestigious Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in 2026
Northern Kentucky University (NKU) and Kentucky Performing Arts have announced a significant partnership. Starting in 2026, NKU will host the prestigious Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts (GSA) for three years. This move brings the renowned summer arts residency program to the region, offering Kentucky high school sophomores and juniors unparalleled opportunities.
The GSA program, set to run from June 7 to June 27 in 2026, will now benefit from NKU's state-of-the-art Fine Arts Center. This facility will provide students with top-tier resources to explore their creativity. The program offers instruction in nine disciplines, with Graphic Design being the latest addition.
