Nvidia Pumps GBP 13B into AI, European Startups Secure Major Funding
Nvidia has announced a significant investment in AI, allocating GBP 2 billion to support startups and GBP 11 billion for AI factories. Meanwhile, several European startups have secured substantial funding, with Polish and Bulgarian companies leading the way.
Nvidia's commitment to AI includes a GBP 2 billion fund to support startups and GBP 11 billion for AI 'factories'. The company has also invested in ElevenLabs, a Polish startup specialising in generative AI audio technology. ElevenLabs' solutions enable the creation of naturally sounding voices in 32 languages.
In Poland, BeeSpeaker, a language learning app, has raised €2 million in seed funding. Paymove, a fintech startup, has secured approximately $860,000 in a new investment round. The merged Polish technology companies Indeema Software and Vakoms have appointed Vasiliy Gryaznov as their new CEO. sun.store, a solar trading platform, has secured €6M in seed funding, one of the largest early-stage rounds in Poland.
In Bulgaria, YOX, an AI-driven startup, has raised €1.5 million to expand internationally. NORDA Dynamics, a Ukrainian defense technology company, has raised $1 million for product development and team expansion. Firehawk Aerospace has secured a $60 million investment from Presto Tech Horizons in a Series C round.
Venture capital firm Zero One Hundred has launched a €25 million early-stage fund focused on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
