Paris Hilton offers her Y2K fashion collection for sale, earning funds to combat LA wildfires

In a collaborative venture with fashion resale platform Vestiaire Collective, Paris Hilton showcased over 100 cherished fashion items, each carrying a wealth of memories. The collection featured a mix of high-end labels, including Mugler, Balenciaga, Versace, Miu Miu, and more.

The assortment boasted pieces that embodied the Parisian aesthetic, such as a studded Louis Vuitton "Chrissie" bag and a vibrant purple Juicy Couture sweatset. However, the collection also highlighted Hilton's fashion transformation with pieces like a floral Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress and brown Kim Jones x Hennessy sneakers. Hilton expressed her love for fashion experimentation, hoping her wardrobe would inspire others to embrace originality.

This charitable closet sale followed the footsteps of celebrities like Kate Moss, Julianne Moore, Natasha Lyonne, and Parker Posey, who donated their garments to luxury consignment site TheRealReal in support of Conservation International. Hilton's curated selection sold out swiftly, with most items finding new homes within three hours.

The proceeds from the sale will benefit wildfire charities through 11:11 Media Impact, a nonprofit organization founded by Hilton. The sale came on the heels of the devastating LA fires, which claimed Hilton's Malibu home, among other properties.

The highlighted auction item included the renowned purple velvet Juicy Couture tracksuit, with Hilton allegedly possessing approximately one hundred of these pieces.

In a statement following the sale, Hilton shared her passion for merging fashion and charity. "I can't think of a better way to combine my greatest passions than with a closet sale," she said.

While the sale included items by known brands like Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Kim Jones x Hennessy, it also showcased Y2K-era trends, such as Juicy Couture tracksuits, Von Dutch puffers, and Miu Miu jackets. Each purchase allowed buyers to own a piece of Hilton's unique fashion history.
