Rotary Club Donates €1,000 to Boost Wolfenbüttel School Tutoring

The Rotary Club has donated €1,000 to the Children's Protection Association Wolfenbüttel for the 'Better catch-up tutoring' project. The project, aimed at all primary school classes, offers unbureaucratic support to prevent children from falling behind in school. The donation was funded by the 'starter premium' collected from new memberships, including Beate Skasa-Lindermeir's recent admission.

The project, named 'Besseres Nachholenstutorium', is carried out directly at the respective schools. It provides professional tutoring to help children avoid knowledge gaps. The symbolic handover of the donation took place on September 26, 2025. Ulrike Hesselbach, a key figure in the project, stressed the importance of preventing such gaps early in a child's school life. The project aims to support primary school children with this targeted help.

The Rotary Club's donation of €1,000 will fund the 'Better catch-up tutoring' project, ensuring that primary school children in Wolfenbüttel receive the support they need to keep up with their peers and prevent knowledge gaps.
