Starting now, entries are being accepted for Hog Factor Europe 2020 competition

The Hog Factor, an internationally renowned competition for young lighting designers, is back for another edition in 2020. This competition offers a unique opportunity for students, trainees, and aspiring lighting professionals aged between 18 and 25 from Europe, CIS states, Africa, and the Middle East to showcase their skills and make valuable industry contacts.

The grand finale of Hog Factor Europe 2020 will take place at Prolight + Sound 2020 in Frankfurt. The winners of this competition will have the chance to play live at the fair and in front of an international audience on 1 April 2020.

Participants are invited to choose one of three songs to create their light show. To participate, they must program a light show using a visualization file on a Hog or Hog 4 PC. The top 3 individual participants or teams will win a trip to Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, including travel, accommodation, and admission.

A jury consisting of professionals from High End Systems will select the three finalists who will be invited to Frankfurt. To win the trip, participants must program a light show that impresses the jury with its creativity, technical prowess, and overall impact.

High End Systems, the company behind the Hog Factor, is offering free training and the latest Hog tutorial videos at highend.com/learnhog4 to help applicants refine their skills.

The winners of Hog Factor Europe 2020 will not only receive recognition but also great prizes. They will have the opportunity to travel to the Live Design International Show in Las Vegas and meet other lighting enthusiasts and professionals for exclusive activities and events.

The application deadline for the Hog Factor Europe 2020 is 15 January 2020. For precise and official information about the competition, including the exact requirements and prizes, we recommend checking archival pages of the official Hog Factor website or contacting the organizers directly.
