The top technical skills in Supply Chain, according to industry professionals, are Inventory Management, Project Management, Best Practice Knowledge, Computer Skills, and Risk Management. Meanwhile, the most valued leadership skills are Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Big Picture Future Planning, and Problem Solving.

Career prospects are positive, with 88% of professionals expressing a positive outlook. New entrants can expect to make around $60,000 within their first two years. The average salary for a Supply Chain professional stands at $78,750, a 24% increase over the national median. Notably, 82% of professionals reported a salary increase over the previous year, with 18% seeing increases of over 10%.
