Candidates must submit only one application for each quota type (government, management, or NRI). The registration fee varies depending on the quota, with INR 500 for the government quota, INR 1,000 for the management quota, and USD 100 for the NRI quota.
The counselling includes seats under the government quota (7.5% and 92.5%), management quota, and NRI quota. In government medical colleges, the MBBS fee is extremely affordable at INR 13,610 per year, while in state private universities, the fees are higher: INR 5.4 lakh (Govt Quota), INR 16.2 lakh (Management Quota), and INR 30 lakh (NRI Quota). In private colleges, the management quota is fixed at INR 15 lakh/year, and the NRI quota is INR 27 lakh/year in most private colleges.
The counselling process will be held in multiple rounds, including Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds if applicable. The state counselling rounds are scheduled as follows:
- Round 1 State counselling: July 21 to July 30, 2025 (registration open July 21–28) - Round 2 State counselling: August 12 to August 20, 2025 - Final joining deadline: October 3, 2025
Classes for UG medical courses are set to start on September 1, 2025.
Candidates should note that community/reservation benefits are applicable only if valid certificates are uploaded. Special Category Certificates (like Ex-Servicemen, PwD, Sports, etc.) must be uploaded with the correct authority seal.
The All India Quota (AIQ) and MCC counselling will be conducted separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) with registration for Round 1 from July 21–28, 2025, and choice filling till July 28 evening.
