The Progression of Self-Aware Advancement in Human Beings
Curious about your true level of consciousness? Let's explore it like a GPS for self-awareness.
We humans tend to have a skewed perception of ourselves, especially when it comes to our own self-assessment. Think about attending a yoga retreat and claiming you've conquered stress forever, or boasting about being enlightened after reading a couple of spiritual books. That's why it's essential to have references that provide an honest, objective reflection of where you stand.
Navigating the 8 Levels of Conscious Evolution
Here's a comprehensive guide, divided into stages, describing different levels of consciousness. There's no judgment involved, just a way to understand your current position.
Initial Stages
Stage 1: Life happens to me (Externalization)
Characterized by patterns of externalization and a victim mentality. Dominant emotions are fear, contempt, and despair, and a distrust of life. Blame is often placed on others, society, government, nature, disease, and external factors.
Stage 2: Life happens by me (Control)
Individuals realize they have some control, but this control is often driven by fear and the need for survival. Wars, for example, originated from this stage of consciousness, where the enemy is perceived as a threat, justifying extreme actions like killing, eliminating, or repressing that enemy.
Transformative Stages
Stage 3: Life happens in me (Creator)
Individuals begin to understand the close connection between their perceptions, beliefs, emotional state, and the conditions of their life, relationships, experiences, and reality. This stage represents a shift from disempowerment to empowerment, requiring a deep transformative process, including the purging of limiting beliefs and the healing of emotional wounds and traumas.
Stage 4: Life happens for me (Receiver)
Individuals evolve into a deeper sense of joy and peace as they let go of resistance to difficult circumstances. They understand that life is guided by an intelligent 'flow' that shapes our individual and collective evolution through both positive and negative experiences.
Insightful Stages
Stage 5: Life happens through me (Philosopher)
Individuals realize that the Universe is evolving itself through them. They understand that perceived suffering or negative events either arise from aspects of their own consciousness or are the result of their resistance to what is unfolding.
Stage 6: Life is me (Sage)
Individuals begin to grasp that reality doesn't exist independently of consciousness. Consciousness is the causative factor of the universe and all that exists. They experience a profound sense of unity and oneness with everything.
Advanced Stages
Stage 7: I Am Infinite (Avatar)
Individuals transcend the physical constraints we typically experience and harness conscious control over their development by directing their awareness in ways that allow them to access higher-order quantum-transpersonal abilities.
Stage 8: I Am Energy (Mystic-Shamanic)
Individuals tap into phenomena like projecting consciousness across space and time, communicating with other forms of consciousness, and sensing data beyond the physical senses.
As you become more grounded in the later phases of stage eight and complete the evolution through lower stages, you'd theoretically achieve complete enlightenment or non-dual self-realization.
This framework offers a practical way to assess your consciousness level and boost self-awareness. Awareness is the foundation for any change, and it's transformative in and of itself.

- In our quest for self-awareness and personal growth, it's important to note that the path to higher consciousness involves stages, much like a GPS guiding us through our journey.
- The journey of conscious evolution includes stages such as the Philosopher, where individuals realize the Universe is evolving itself through them, and the Sage, where reality itself depends on consciousness.
- With education and self-development, one can strive for mindfulness, to delve into the transformative stages like the Creator, where individuals begin to understand their role in shaping their life, fostering healing and promoting their ego's growth.
