Unemployment persists in the Free State for numerous individuals
In Saxony, the new training year began in September, but approximately 17% of the remaining unfilled apprentice positions still remain as of the current date. This equates to 6,900 unfilled positions, a figure that has decreased from the initial 70% at the start of the year.
Klaus-Peter Hansen, the head of the Saxony Employment Agency, spoke to your station about these unfilled apprentice positions. He reiterated that these positions are looking for new talent, and career counselors are available at the agency to assist young people in their search.
The Saxony Employment Agency is responsible for the unfilled apprentice positions in the region, and the search for an apprenticeship continues until the end of October. So far, 83% of young people in Saxony have found an apprenticeship, leaving 17% of the total number of young people still seeking an apprenticeship.
These unfilled apprentice positions are open for young people who are still looking for an apprenticeship. Klaus-Peter Hansen mentioned that these positions are looking for new talent, and he encourages young people not to miss this opportunity.
