Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 Launched: Inspire 1 Crore Students to Innovate for India's Development

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 on September 23, aiming to inspire over one crore students to develop innovative projects for national development. The event, organized by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, and AICTE, encourages students from all regions to participate.

The Buildathon focuses on inclusivity, targeting students from Aspirational Districts, Tribal areas, and remote regions. Teams of 5 to 7 students can register on vbb.mic.gov.in until October 6, 2025. They must submit an initial innovation concept and choose themes like Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, and Samriddh Bharat. All participants will receive certificates, with the top 10,000 teams recognized with awards.

The initiative seeks to promote innovation and skill development among Indian youth. It encourages problem-solving and technological advancement to contribute to India's vision of becoming a developed nation.

The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 registration closes today, October 6. Students from classes 6 to 12 are encouraged to sign up and submit their innovative project ideas. The event offers a platform for students to showcase their creativity and contribute to India's growth.
