Workshops Commence at Dubai Podfest's Fifth Edition Under Dubai Press Club's Supervision
Dubai, 30th September 2025 - The fifth Dubai Podfest is set to take place on the 30th of this month, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. The event, organised by the Dubai Press Club (DPC), will gather leading regional and international media organisations and platforms, with Mahfoudha Saleh serving as the Manager of Dubai PodFest.
The three-day festival will offer workshops across three tracks: Creative Skills and Storytelling, Business and Strategy, and Technology and Production. These workshops aim to support the growth of the audio content industry and nurture media talent, as stated by Mahfoudha Saleh.
The Creative Skills and Storytelling track focuses on shaping unique podcast identities and mastering presentation techniques. Participants will learn how to create engaging content and develop a strong podcast brand. The Technology and Production track, on the other hand, highlights innovations like AI-driven tools for editing and sound design, immersive audio techniques, and live streaming strategies.
The Business and Strategy track covers audience growth, brand building, and the balance of audio and video content. It aims to prepare creators for the expanding global podcast market. The sessions are designed to strengthen Dubai's position at the forefront of digital content development.
The workshops will be led by distinguished Arabic and international experts. Major platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Podeo, Dolby Atmos, the Arabian Radio Network, and The Voice Center will be involved, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for attendees.
