World's Craziest Race Hits Florence and Mugello: Gumball 3000 Edition
The Gumball 3000, a renowned automotive event, is set to invade Tuscany from September 23 to 24, promising a unique blend of engines, music, fashion, and culture.
This year's 26th edition will travel through 8 countries and cover 3,000 km, with Nice serving as the initial destination after leaving Tuscany. The journey will culminate on September 26 in Ibiza.
The event will not just be a race, but an experience that unites all these elements. On September 23, Piazzale Michelangelo will host over 100 supercars, attracting celebrities such as Elettra Lamborghini, Afrojack, Maximillion Cooper, EVE, Adekunle Gold, Patrice Evra, The Sidemen, Alan Walker, and many others.
In Florence, the Mugello Circuit will host a high-speed challenge on September 24, with the 5,245 meters of the Tuscan track serving as the stage. The supercars will showcase their performance, and the public can admire iconic and customized vehicles up close.
Automotive YouTubers DailyDrivenExotics (DDE) and Pog, known for their loud and spectacular creations, will also be present at the Mugello Circuit.
Europe offers a fantastic backdrop for the event, with rich and diverse cultures that are experienced in just a few days. The Gumball 3000 promises to turn Florence into a crossroads of cultures and styles, celebrating the passion for supercars.
The arrival of the supercars will be accompanied by a free public festival featuring live music, DJ sets, and an exhibition of the cars. Every evening along the route, free festivals are held that attract fans from all over Europe.
The proceeds from the event will help create opportunities for future generations worldwide. This year, the rally will raise funds for the Gumball 3000 Foundation, which supports youth initiatives in collaboration with organisations such as The King's Trust, Laureus Sport for Good, and Fundació Valencia CF.
Maximillion Cooper, founder of the rally, stated that this route is a spectacular way to celebrate the return of the Gumball 3000 to Europe. The event aims to support youth charity programs during its journey, making it more than just a race, but a meaningful experience.
