Yakutia's Youth Council Cleans Up Teacher's Boulevard in Eco-Tribute
The Youth Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and the Association of Young Educators of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) recently took part in an ecological cleanup event named 'Yraas Eige'. The event, held at Teacher's Boulevard, was a combined effort to improve the environment and pay tribute to the pedagogical heritage of the republic.
The cleanup event, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Social Communications of Yakutia, saw participants carrying out beautification and cleaning work. The Federation of Trade Unions of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) expressed gratitude to all those involved.
The event was held at Teacher's Boulevard, home to a memorial composition dedicated to M.A. Alekseyev, a famous Soviet educator. The Federation of Trade Unions supports initiatives like these, aimed at improving the ecological situation and preserving historical and cultural heritage of Yakutia. This is not the first time such an event has taken place at this location. In 2017, the ecological action program 'Yraas Eige' was conducted here, organized by the local environmental education institution.
